What is IVF Treatment?
IVF treatmentIt is the process of combining the reproductive cells taken from mother and father candidates in a laboratory environment and transferring the embryo that occurs after fertilization to the uterus of the mother. In vitro fertilization is an assisted reproductive method, which is preferred by people with infertility problems and low chance of having children naturally. In a normal pregnancy, an embryo is formed with a self-fertilized egg without any intervention, while in vitro fertilization is medically assisted in this process. Thus, an embryo is formed and pregnancy is achieved. From this period on, there will be no difference in the course of pregnancy and delivery.
Who is IVF Treatment Applied to?
IVF treatment examination of couples who could not achieve pregnancy after one year of unprotected intercourse, and as a result of tests, detection of the defect, such as examination, hormone analysis and sperm test, and treatment plans for this are shared with the couples. It is also applied to patients who cannot have children naturally, for example, the ducts are blocked in women, the male sperm count is low, and even there is no sperm in the semen, and the group in which sperm is obtained by the Microtese method in the testicular tissue and other treatment methods, ovulation follow-up and vaccination treatment cannot be obtained.
